It’s time to enjoy an afternoon with amazing like minded people along the River Thames in Royal Windsor. An opportunity to network, connect, learn and grow by investing in yourselves and others, concluding with delicious food whilst taking in the sights and sounds of the River Thames by sailing upstream, passing Windsor Marina, Luxury riverside houses, Monkey Island, and many other sites! 

Keynote Speakers:

Khalila Lister, also an Islam Channel presenter, TEDx speaker and founder of Power of Voice Academy.

Jennifer Ogunyemi, Multi-award winner, Islam Channel presenter and founding director of Sisters in Business. Both are Islam Channel presenters, who are leaders in their own field and have successfully curated TEDx Bethnal Green platform for next year in London.

You are most welcome to arrive early and explore Windsor itself by visiting the oldest occupied castle in the world, Windsor Castle. The castle does have a collection of Muslim treasures including the Kiswah cloth from the Kabah with stolen treasures of legendary Tipu Sultan. Upon arrival at Windsor Castle audio guides are available in different languages. Tickets for the castle can be purchased at the booking page at £28.

There is also the opportunity to take a picture by the leaning shop of Windsor! We may all be familiar with the Leaning Tower of Pisa, in Italy but did you know that Britain has its own equivalent? With tourists taking pictures of trying to save it from falling! It’s a must have picture for sure!

Along Windsor Promenade you could also feed the Crown’s Swans by purchasing the feed from the Kiosk. One of the most well-known sayings is that all swans are the property of the King and killing a swan, some claim, is high treason which could see you thrown in the Tower!

  • The event is an afternoon gathering for like-minded people who maybe an entrepreneur or not. 
  • Attendees can network, enjoy delicious food, and take in the sights and sounds of the River Thames on board a 2 deck boat. Further drinks can be purchased from the cash bar.
• Booking and Popular Demand:
  • Past cruises have sold out in advance with a waiting list.
  • Early bird booking is recommended to avoid disappointment.
  • We are unable to accept the attendance of anyone who is not booked, this includes children. Children may attend at the same price. 
  • Complete booking details, including legal full names, are required and no convert/revert, professional or Kunyas are accepted.
  • Incomplete bookings may be cancelled or suspended.
• Ticket Terms and Conditions:
  • Tickets are non-transferable to other events, and no refunds are offered.
  • Ticket transfers are possible upto 72 hours in advance of event via email.
• Event Schedule & Punctuality
  • Registration starts at 2:30 PM.
  • Departure and Return point details are:  Windsor Promenade Barry Avenue, Windsor. Nearest Postcode: SL41QX
  • Be on time as missing the boat results in no refunds or transfers.

• Travel Information:
  • The Elizabeth line takes you to Slough, where you can change to the short ride on the Windsor train from platform 1. The cheapest way to Windsor is to purchase a train ticket for West Drayton to Slough but contactless to West Drayton on Elizabeth Line prior to that which would cost about £6.50 return. You do not need to change trains until you get to Slough. 
  • Trains also leave from Clapham Station, South London
  • Windsor is served by 2 train stations: Windsor & Eton Central and Windsor & Eton Riverside. Both stations are about a 5 minute walk from the departure point.
  • You can plan your travel using www.tfl.gov.uk.
  • If heading back to Slough for the Elizabeth line than this is from Platform 5 at Slough Station.
• Prayer:
  • Attendees may arrive early to Windsor and offer prayers at: Hoofs and Hides, 140 Peascod Street, Windsor SL4 1DS. The shop is Muslim owned and sells genuine leathers goods. They have been for many years allowing Muslims to pray on site.

  • Attendees will be added to a temporary WhatsApp group for event updates.

• Health and Safety Guidelines:
  • Unacceptable behaviour may result in removal from the boat without refunds.
  • Concerns raised and resolved during the event should not be repeated to other team members or the company afterwards.
  • Attendees must follow instructions for the smooth running of the event.
  • The organisers reserve the right to refuse admission or cancel bookings without disclosing reasons.

• Privacy and GDPR:
  • The organisers can only discuss bookings with the booker.
  • Lawyers may be asked for their SAR number if claiming to be one.
