All past cruises sold out in advance, with an extensive waiting list and based on our last sister’s afternoon tea cruise there is much eagerness for people wishing to book this time. Therefore, please book as early as possible to avoid disappointment.
You can always stroll upstairs to take in the 360-degree views of London’s riverside landmarks, which include Tower Bridge, Tower of London, The Shard, London Eye, The Globe, St Paul’s, Big Ben, Cleopatra Needle, Tate Modern, Golden Hinde, and much more!

Aysha Mercedes is a revert to Islam and presents Islam Channel’s morning show ‘Salam Britain’. Aysha is also the co-founder and host of popular YouTube channel ‘Sister2Sister Podcasts’ where she and co-host Ameenah invite guests to discuss important topics prevalent in the community. As well as being a team leader in a corporate taxi service, Aysha is also a professionally qualified counsellor.
Aysha is passionate about supporting others and her intention is to please Allah whilst using her voice to bring about positive changes.
A Reflective Ramadan
Aliyah Umm Raiyaan converted to Islam 23 years ago and has been involved in UK dawah for over 20 years. In 2010, she founded Solace UK, a charity that helps women who have converted to Islam and find themselves in difficulty. In 2019 she launched a YouTube show called Honest Tea Talk which brought unscripted conversations to the table about raw unspoken topics related to the Muslim community. She continues to devote her time to helping women achieve their full potential whilst emphasising the importance of developing a personal and close relationship with Allah. She was recently approached by the publisher Penguin to write and a publish a book. The book, Ramadan Reflections, which has now been written will be available on 2nd March 2023 inshaAllah. She lives in East London where she home educates her children.
She is the author of a soon to be released book titled: Ramadan Reflection by Penguin publications. A must-have intimate journal to guide you through Ramadan and deepen your individual connection to Allah for the year head.

Sailing Through Ramadan
Khalila Lister is a TEDx and international speaker and the founder of “Power of Voice Academy”. She trains entrepreneurs, experts and speakers in public speaking strategies and techniques to take on any stage.
Khalila is a revert to Islam and before embracing the faith in 2007 had attended stage schools and was a performer/ public speaker and radio host. She was establishing a career in the world of media and was speaking on stage in front of thousands. Upon embracing Islam, she was offered a huge deal touring and hosting a top celebrity, however she knew that it did not fit with her current beliefs and declined the offer. With this she decided to leave behind that lifestyle as she was unsure how to navigate her career and new life as a Muslim woman.
Khalila’s mission is to help business and thought leaders have their voices heard and stories told because the most powerful tool you own for change, is your voice.
Self care and holistic health in Ramadan
Ameenah Shaw is a revert and a Mother of 3, a presenter at Islam channel and also a co-host on the Sister 2 Sister podcast. Her career background is in the hairdressing industry. Along with her 20+ years of experience in this industry, she has a business called Naturelle Hair Treats London where she produces natural hair care products and delivers workshops and programs for Black and Muslim women. Through her work, Ameenah aspires to empower these women to challenge their perception of beauty by developing a holistic approach to haircare and self care.
She has been shortlisted for the Sisters in Business 2023 awards for Hair and Beauty Business of the year.
Anisa Kissoon is currently in Turkey and is providing valuable support to the victims of the earthquakes and therefore will be unable to join us on this occasion and therefore have Ameenah as a replacement.
Indoor seating – £50 each
Indoor Window seating, come in a pair – £65 each for 1 seat. If you wish to be seated with someone else please book together under one booking. We are unable to resolve this for you on the day. Window seaters will be given priority to board.
You are not allowed to bring any drinks on board and drinks are to be purchased onboard the boat. This is a strict condition of the boat hire and anyone found to be bringing their own drinks will have them confiscated and may be refused entry if need be and no refunds or exchanges allowed. Apart from the Afternoon Tea, coffee and tea and additional drinks can be purchased on board.
Dietary restrictions.
Whilst we will try to accommodate Vegetarian, Vegan, Celiac/ Gluten, dairy allergy, nut allergy, and seafood allergies, we would need to know at your time of booking. Failure to make mention of your request may mean we are unable to cater for your requirement on the day. We are unable to cater for any new dietary requests now.
Babies are allowed as long as they do not need a seat or food but need to be booked under the infant ticket. We are unable to allow anyone not booked on the boat and if you turn up with someone you will not be allowed to board.
Limited buggies are allowed on the boat and you will need to check with us first. There are no high chairs etc available. No boys over 11 allowed.
Mothers please plan ahead from now to have your children looked after and purchase your ticket.
If you are co-parenting with the father of your children and his contact is on a Sunday then there is nothing wrong in asking him in advance if you would mind swapping the Sunday for the Saturday.
We only accept fully complete bookings, therefore you agree to provide legal full names and not a Kunya. We have the right to cancel a booking if complete details are not provided.
All tickets are sold as stated and there are no alternatives on the day so make sure you book accordingly.
If you are booking on behalf of someone else, make sure you have informed them of the details on this page as they too will be governed by the T&Cs.
By booking this cruise you are agreeing that you are fit to wait at pier side and to travel on the boat. Regrettably we may not be able to help people on the day who have failed to enquire about their health needs prior to booking.
This cruise boat experience can not be compared to a boat experience we have organised before.
No refunds or exchanges are offered. If you are unable to attend you may transfer your booking to someone else provided you inform us by email 72 hours in advance. Regrettably, under 72 hours no transfers are possible etc are possible even with covid. If you are feeling unwell take personal responsibility of NOT attending to prevent impact on other guests. You may transfer your ticket to a friend ONLY with advance email confirmation 72 hours in advance, to [email protected] No transfers within the last 72 hours.
We reserve the right to cancel a booking or refuse the right of admission without disclosing our reasons why.
Before the day:
You will plan ahead and arrive at Tower Millennium Pier by 12:15 PM. If in doubt use www.tfl.gov.uk to plan ahead, don’t forget to use the correct date and arrival time. If you are travelling by private car or Uber please use: Tower Millennium Pier, Lower Thames Street, London EC3N 4DT. Do not confuse it with Tower Bridge Quay Pier.

Boarding is at 12:45 PM, Sail 1:00 PM and returns to the same pier for disembarking at 4:45 PM. We are unable to wait for latecomers and there are no refunds or exchanges possible.
The Halal Tourism Britain team or third parties will not accept any form of abuse, alarm or distress as deemed by us from anyone. We reserve the right to call the river police to have any individual/s displaying such behaviour to have you or your group removed from the boat and there are no refunds or exchanges. If there are any concerns raised on the boat and they are resolved you are not able to repeat the concerns again to other members of the team or contacting the company wishing to seek additional benefit.
We reserve the right to cancel a booking or refuse the right of admission without disclosing our reasons why.
Whilst this is a Sister’s Afternoon Tea cruise there will be male staff present, eg. Captain, crew, AbdulMaalik Tailor the founder of Halal Tourism Britain and team members.
Note: On the day you would need to follow any instructions given by staff and crew of the boat for the smooth running of the event which also includes health and safety. We reserve the right to refuse entry to anyone causing disruption and unable to follow the instructions of staff and crew on the day. No refunds offered.
Transport
Tower Pier is also known as Tower Millennium Pier and is close to Tower Hill underground station served by the Circle and District lines. Tower Gateway DLR station and London Bridge train station are not far off.
Cars may be parked at Indigo Car Park, 50 Lower Thames Street, London EC3R 6DT. Saturday 6am-1.30pm £4.20 per hour or part thereof. After 1:30 PM for the rest of the day the flat rate is £4.20. Please make all enquiries for car parking directly with them.
The car park and Tower Pier is within the Congestion Charge Zone and the ULEZ. Whitechapel has free parking and is about a 10 minute walk away.
