Waltham Forest resident, Tharik Hussain is a travel writer, journalist and author specialising in Muslim travel and Islamic heritage, whose work has been published by the BBC, Al Jazeera and Arab News. Tharik has developed self-guided trails all over the world for leading travel publisher, Lonely Planet, and authored several of their forthcoming guidebooks, including Oman, UAE, and Arabian Peninsula, Southeast Asia, Thailand and Pocket Ko Samui.
