Charming day in Cambridge - Enjoy the Eco-Mosque, punting and hidden Muslim gems!

Punting is an add on price. All punting bookings have to be done 2 weeks prior to the event 18th July 2025 and mini group numbers of 20 required.

A day trip to discover the wonderful city of Cambridge, by visiting the £23 million Eco Mosque, discovering the Islamic Gardens and Islamic exhibition with an opportunity to pray Dhur prayer at one of the most iconic mosques in Britain.

Lunch may be taken at one of the halal eateries along the same road as the mosque or feel free to bring a pack lunch.

After Dhur prayer we will board the coach again for a short drive to the punting place. Punting is the ideal way to see the riverside Colleges with a chauffeur in both comfort & style. Sit back, relax and soak up the atmosphere as you enjoy some of Cambridge’s most magnificent architecture. Note: Punting is an add on price for those who wish to book at a group discounted price of £20 per seat as opposed to £29+ (minimum 20 people required)

View where Allama Iqbal once stayed in Cambridge, whilst at the University of Cambridge. For this trip you will also discover the Moroccan ambassador who paid a visit to Cambridge university 400 years ago, and the fascinating story of Britain’s first Muslim footballer from more than 110 years ago!

Whilst on the coach you are responsible for disposing of your own rubbish off the coach.

For the purpose of this trip a temperory WhatsApp group will be set up for easy communication. £2 per person is donated to the Cambridge Mosque.

This tour can be run as a private one throughout the year.

Price is dependent upon: Number of people and pick up and drop off location and not the shown price.

Currently the daytrip to Cambridge is by car (upto 3 people), 7 seater minibus or by coach as a group tour. Pick up and drop off can be done anywhere in London or the outside London.
